Privacy policy
Nimoxa Technologies runs ProConnect. This page explains what we keep and why.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) password. We cannot read your password.
- For professionals: the public profile you write, including your phone number, which is shown to visitors.
- Your mobile number, which we verify by text message. For professionals it is shown on the public profile.
- For professionals: your CNIC number and pictures of both sides of your CNIC, and a profile photo. The CNIC number and pictures are stored encrypted, are visible only to our administrators, and are used only to check your identity. The profile photo is shown publicly once you are approved.
- Your requests, messages and reviews.
- A login cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To run the site: show profiles, pass requests between customers and professionals, and send emails you need (confirming your address, resetting a password) and notifications you can turn off in Settings. Emails never contain the text of your messages.
Who sees it
Your profile and reviews are public. Requests and messages are visible only to the two people in the conversation and to administrators who may need to look into abuse. Our email provider and hosting company process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
You can change your details, switch off notification emails and delete your account in Settings. Deleting removes your profile, requests, messages and reviews. Backups may keep a copy for a short time.
